About the instructor
Jim Haack, together with his wife Katie, own and operate Wild Canary Farm, a diversified family farm located just south of Duvall, WA in the Snoqualmie River Valley. At Wild Canary they focus on a regenerative approach to food and community. They grow cut flowers commercially on 2 acres, including over 100 varieties of dahlia in every type, shape and color, from 1" pompoms to 10" dinnerplate monster dahlias. Their dahlias sell direct to consumers, through markets, farm stands and retailers and now through the Seattle Wholesale Growers Market, a cooperative of NW producers.
